Ask a question and get the answer from hundreds to a couple of thousand Reddit comments

You want to know what people who own a product really think of it, or which of two to pick. You type the question. Fractl Agents finds the Reddit threads about it, reads the comments in them (usually several hundred, sometimes a couple of thousand), and writes a short answer. The comments behind the answer are quoted word for word, with a link to each one.

What Fractl Agents does during the run

  1. Fractl Agents searches Reddit for threads about your question

    Fractl Agents searches Reddit in your own words and in two shorter wordings, such as the product name alone, and searches Google for Reddit threads too. A decision model reads each thread's title and keeps the threads about your question. This takes a few seconds.

  2. Fractl Agents reads the comments in up to 50 threads at once

    The threads with the most comments come first. On a thread with hundreds of comments, Fractl Agents opens ten pages of them. The newest comments appear in the window as they arrive. Reading takes about half a minute.

  3. A decision model reads 300 of the comments closely

    The 300 come from every thread, the best-voted first. The decision model marks each one positive, negative, mixed, or not about your question, and leaves the ones not about it out of the answer.

  4. Fractl Agents writes the answer and picks the quotes

    Claude Haiku writes a short answer from the comments about your question, picks quotes, and lists the points commenters make most often. Every quote is checked word for word against the comment it came from; a quote that does not match is dropped.

  5. You read the answer and open any comment on Reddit

    Each quote links to its comment. Under Every thread, open a thread to read the comments Fractl Agents read from it. The Excel workbook has every comment.
